A 4-day externship includes presentations of theory, clinical techniques and skills, training exercises, video recordings, observation of live interviews and discussion of specific cases and clinical issues. Along with didactic presentation, this training will incorporate participant role plays in small group settings to practice this experiential model, as well as opportunity to observe trainers working with a couple live.

This externship in EFCT contains didactic teaching about the theoretical underpinnings of the EFT model, the evidence-base for EFCT, the 3 stages and 9 steps of the EFCT model (the EFT road map), a comprehensive overview of the key EFT therapist interventions including the EFT Tango, as well as video demonstrations, small-group activities, and where possible, a live demonstration of an EFCT client session.
