EFCT Core Skills Training presents a set of four, two-day workshops and is designed to follow the EFCT Externship. Core Skills offers an in-depth opportunity to develop the skills essential to the practice of EFCT. Each segment includes instruction, role play, observation of video, and consultation In this training, we will be discussing, showing, demonstrating, and generally exploring EFCT with a focus on LGBTQ+ relationships.

Core Skills give a “deeper dive” into each stage, step, and intervention that make up an “Emotionally Focused” approach to couples therapy. The first weekend of Core Skills covers Stage 1, the second weekend Stage 2 and working with attachment Injuries. Modules 1 & 2: 9/19/2025 – 9/21/2025. Modules 3 & 4: 1/9/2026 – 1/11/2026

Core Skills training consists of four, two-day trainings (11 hours each) that will focus on the core skills of each of the EFT steps/stages. The training will offer instruction, live case consultations, group supervision and experiential exercises as set forth by the ICEEFT. Participants are required to have completed an EFT externship. Core Skills training can be applied towards certification.

This is the second Core Skills module, consisting of Core Skills 3 & 4, and will be offered on Thursday, October 2, 2025, Friday, October 3, 2025 and Saturday, October 4, 2025 .

Core Skills (Extended) is the second step in official basic EFT Training. This 48 Hour EFCT training is broken up into 2 x 3 Day weekends hosted live & in person in Las Vegas, NV.
