This course offers an intensive focus on key elements in the EFT process applied to adult family relationships. Demonstration and practice exercises provide participants opportunities to understand the EFT skills utilized in intervening with these family relationships. There will be an opportunity to view the treatment of one family over time from the beginning of therapy to termination.

This one-day training explores how Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) provides a clear, attachment-based framework for understanding and treating anxiety. Presented by ICEEFT Courses.

Through instruction, discussion, and EFCT video demonstrations with couples, participants will learn about areas of special consideration when working with autism and ways to adapt the practice of EFCT to accommodate autistic needs, thereby making EFCT neuroinclusive. Included also will be important discussions around autism diagnosis, marginalized identities, strengths, disabilities, and self-of-therapist considerations when working with autism.

Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) externship is the major entry point for therapists learning this comprehensive series of training programs to gain a basic understanding of the EFT theory and clinical techniques of working with couples. EFT was developed by Sue Johnson and is being presented by the ICEEFT certified trainer Paul Guillory, PhD. Sue Johnson has published several outstand books & training videos for learning the EFT model.

Join Cindy for Core Skills training to practice and deeper understand each stage, step and intervention in "Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy". The training will offer instruction, live case consultation and experiential exercises as set forth by ICEEFT. EFCT Core Skills consists of a total of 8 training days (48 hours) over 2 x 4 days.

The 4-Day Externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples is an immersive, foundational training for mental health professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of attachment-based couple therapy. Developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, EFT is a research-supported model that helps couples move from distress to connection by identifying negative patterns and fostering secure emotional bonds.
