Upcoming EFT Training Events for Therapists

Even when couples have achieved a measure of secure emotional attachment in therapy, there is often still a need for direct work on their sexual relationship. Learn how to work effectively with both the emotional and sexual attachment cycles with Trainer George Faller and Certified Sex Therapist Laurie Watson.

This 10hr training uses EFIT case examples and exercises to deepen participants' mastery of the EFIT model. Therapists will discuss blocks and build their confidence and practical skills. By watching segments of sessions, breaking down the EFIT interventions and clinical decision-points, this workshop will consolidate and develop the EFIT therapist's precision and insightful proficiency of practice.

This four-day (24hr) course revises and deepens therapists' understanding of the EFCT model and the interventions used to achieve the three change events identified by process research that move loving relationships from insecurity to security. It includes case presentations, video demonstrations, and experiential exercises, as well as providing practical resources for therapists to use with their clients.

This one-day (6hr) workshop will focus on injuries to attachment bonds in close relationships. Time will be spent on defining ruptures to trust due to broken agreements between partners and on how these ruptures can be healed using EFT for couples, including the Attachment Injury Resolution Model. This one-day training explores working with clients with high levels of shame. We know that many people who have experienced disappointing or distressing relationships with their attachment figures, go on to carry a legacy of shame. This workshop addresses how to use the therapeutic alliance and the EFIT interventions to create safety in our therapeutic space and to create powerful moments of change and growth for our most shame-prone clients.
