Upon completion of an online class related to EFT, can a therapist say they are trained in EFT & advertise to the public? Or do you need to complete an externship in order to advertise yourself as an EFT therapist?
You may state that you have trained in EFT, but you may not say that you are certified in EFT.

Anyone can run a HMT workshop. No qualifications are necessary.

The Externship is the best starting point and counts towards certification in EFT. You can find all confirmed Externships listed under the Events menu, sub menu Externship Events.
Is it ok to sign up for an online training that is being offered in a state other than the one in which I reside?
You will need to check with the organizers. Some may have restrictions based on location.
Will any trainings be recorded and available for purchase as videos?
You would need to contact the individual organizers to see if they will be recording their event as it is entirely up to them.
