Upcoming EFT Training Events for Therapists

Basistraining
The externship includes didactic presentations on theory, techniques, and skills; video recordings of EFT sessions with couples; observation of live sessions; and discussion of specific cases and clinical issues. Training exercises allow participants to learn EFT techniques and interventions in a supportive environment.
Dates: 23., 24., 30., and 31. March 2026 (9am until 4pm)

The EFCT Standard Core Skills training is a 4 day immersion training (24 hours) in the theory and practice of EFT. It serves as the second (and final) course in the pathway to become a Certified EFCT Therapist. Participants can opt for this 24-hour option as part of their EFCT Certification requirements. (please note: 48-hour options are available elsewhere). 12 hours dedicated each to Stage 1 & Stage 2

This 10hr training uses EFIT case examples and exercises to deepen participants' mastery of the EFIT model. Therapists will discuss blocks and build their confidence and practical skills. By watching segments of sessions, breaking down the EFIT interventions and clinical decision-points, this workshop will consolidate and develop the EFIT therapist's precision and insightful proficiency of practice.

The Singapore EFT Community is offering a two-day (12-hour) in-person EFIT Consultation in Singapore from 6–7 April 2026, led by Dr. Ting Liu, ICEEFT Certified Trainer. Designed as a follow-up to EFIT Essentials, this training deepens clinical understanding and helps therapists discover effective ways to overcome therapeutic obstacles and blocks while building confidence and practical skills.

Transforming Addiction through Attachment & Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy

A dynamic 2-day live in-person training is designed for EFT therapists who want to strengthen their skills while learning to navigate the complex and often disruptive presence of addiction in couple dynamics. Participants will gain practical strategies for integrating EFcT interventions in cases where addiction (substance use, process addictions such as pornography, gambling, or compulsive eating, etc.) complicates the therapeutic process.

EXTERNSHIP IN EFCT is a 4-day (24+ hours) training for therapists aiming to specialize in couples therapy. EFT is an experiential, systemic and attachment-based model, the most widely researched and empirically proven as the most effective model of couple therapy to date. Externship in EFCT is your first step in becoming a certified EFT Couples Therapist.

This one-day training looks at narcissism through the EFT lens by exploring the diagnostic features of narcissism, how we conceptualise narcissism within an EFT framework, and how we can frame such features as coping strategies that regulate self-esteem – a defence against a vulnerable self. This workshop explores how we can work with narcissistic characteristics within EFT for couples, families and individuals, taking a non-pathologising stance.
