Upcoming EFCT Events (EFT for Couples)

Online Core Skills is a 48 hr training. It consists of four, two-day trainings (12 hours each) on Jan. 17-18, March 14-15, May 16-17, July 18-19, 2025 that will focus on the key skills of each of the EFT steps/stages and Tango moves. The trainings will offer instruction, experiential exercises and case consultations. Core Skills training is the best way to deepen your EFT skills with couples and is a requirement for certification.

Qualifications: Participants are required to have completed an EFT Externship and be willing to participate in group work.
Dates & Times: Stage 1: 6:00-8:30 pm IST/7:30-10:00am ET

Limited spaces are available, so early registration is encouraged to secure your spot! Core Skills 1 & 2: January 22-24, 2025, 9 am to 5 pm. This session will cover Stage One of EFT, including assessment and alliance, the cycle, and de-escalation. Core Skills 3 & 4: April 21-23, 2025, 9 am to 5 pm. EFT Core Skills Training offers an in-depth opportunity to develop the core skills essential to the practice of EFT. In the overall context of the EFT Tango, each Core Skills session is dedicated to specific steps of the model and the therapeutic tasks and interventions characteristic of those steps.

This four-day (24hr) course revises and deepens therapists' understanding of the EFCT model and the interventions used to achieve the three change events identified by process research that move loving relationships from insecurity to security. It includes case presentations, video demonstrations, and experiential exercises, as well as providing practical resources for therapists to use with their clients.
