Upcoming Hold Me Tight® Events

We welcome mid-Missouri relationships of any type to join us for Hold Me Tight in Columbia, Missouri November 7-8, 2025. Hold Me Tight is an intensive couple's workshop designed to build emotional safety and connection between you and your partner. Through individual conversations designed by Dr. Sue Johnson, founder of EFT, and facilitated by trained and certified EFT therapists onsite, you and your partner will strengthen your bond in new ways

In-person in St. Louis, 11/7/25 & 11/8/25, from 9am-4:30pm

Join our Hold Me Tight® workshop in Brunswick, Maine—a transformative weekend experience inspired by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Over two days, couples engage in seven guided conversations designed to help you identify common negative patterns, cultivate emotional safety, and deepen your bond. Through experiential exercises, video clips, and therapist-led support, you’ll learn new ways to reach for each other with empathy and intention.

Claudio Vargas Silva, LMFT, and Tricia Kim Walsh, LMFT will be offering a Virtual Hold Me Tight® Workshop for Couples on Saturday, November 9th & Sunday, November 10th. The price to attend the workshop is $750 (current Early Bird is $700 before October 4th). All Couples and Ages are welcome. Married, dating, domestic partners. Both facilitators identify as BIPOC and provide a safe, encouraging, inclusive, and warm environment for all to learn.

FREE for couples where 1 person is a service member or Veteran in North Dakota.

Our workshop is led by Dr. Dave Jackson, Dr. Katya Mickelson, & Dr. Michael Jowkar.

This effort is associated with North Dakota’s State Suicide Prevention Program, funded by the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Behavioral Health Division (HHS), Behavioral Health Division (BHD).

This In-Person Hold Me Tight® Couples Retreat is limited to 4 couples.

Online Hold Me Tight for couples is offered by experienced EFT therapists, Carolyn McIntyre, LCSW-R, EFCT and Dr. Regina Bordieri who have facilitated over 15 online Hold Me Tights since 2020. Our workshop provides one EFT trained therapist for each couple so all couples have the support they need to process the exercises and be successful in navigating them together.
