Healing Tender Hearts in EFT Stage 2: Clarifying Process, Deepening Emotions

An exploration of the EFT Stage 2 change events of Withdrawer Re-Engagement & Pursuer Softening, including the essential skills needed to help your couples restructure their bonds. Through teaching, videos & exercises, you'll learn how to lean into vulnerable emotions by heightening primary affect, incorporate "parts" work including view of self & view of other, help each partner to complete the risk, reach & response to shift interaction pattern

Through instruction, discussion, and EFCT video demonstrations with couples, participants will learn about areas of special consideration when working with autism and ways to adapt the practice of EFCT to accommodate autistic needs, thereby making EFCT neuroinclusive. Included also will be important discussions around autism diagnosis, marginalized identities, strengths, disabilities, and self-of-therapist considerations when working with autism.

This workshop will provide an overview of the research and theoretical models of adult attachment from the perspective of injuries to attachment bonds in romantic relationships. Time will be spent on defining ruptures to trust as a result of broken agreements between partners and on how these ruptures can be healed using EFCT.

This 1 Day online workshop offers a deep dive into one of the most important processes in EFT: repairing attachment injuries. Using EFT's A.I.R.M. roadmap, therapists will learn how to identify attachment injuries, and practically apply EFT's AIRM & interventions to address/repair unresolved relational injuries and traumas that clients get stuck not being able to move past these events in their relationships. Healing from Affair & Infidelity in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT).
This workshop offers an in-depth exploration of attachment injuries and ruptures to trust in romantic relationships. Drawing from Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), we’ll examine how betrayals—such as affairs—impact relational bonds and how healing is possible using the Attachment Injury Resolution Model (AIRM).

This one-day training explores working with clients with high levels of shame. We know that many people who have experienced disappointing or distressing relationships with their attachment figures, go on to carry a legacy of shame. This workshop addresses how to use the therapeutic alliance and the EFIT interventions to create safety in our therapeutic space and to create powerful moments of change and growth for our most shame-prone clients.

Neurodiversity can help couples bond and can intensify negative cycles which lead to disconnection. This workshop presents an opportunity to understand how to practice Emotionally Focused Therapy with couples where one or more partners are neurodivergent. The workshop will include a variety of neurodiversity including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and Dyspraxia and will approach neurodiversity from a affirming lens.

Transforming Addiction through Attachment & Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy

A dynamic 2-day live in-person training is designed for EFT therapists who want to strengthen their skills while learning to navigate the complex and often disruptive presence of addiction in couple dynamics. Participants will gain practical strategies for integrating EFcT interventions in cases where addiction (substance use, process addictions such as pornography, gambling, or compulsive eating, etc.) complicates the therapeutic process.

This one-day training looks at narcissism through the EFT lens by exploring the diagnostic features of narcissism, how we conceptualise narcissism within an EFT framework, and how we can frame such features as coping strategies that regulate self-esteem – a defence against a vulnerable self. This workshop explores how we can work with narcissistic characteristics within EFT for couples, families and individuals, taking a non-pathologising stance.
